Every year we offer the opportunity for our Year 6 pupils to participate in the cycling awareness course – bikeability. This is run by two qualified instructors who teach the children about road safety and the rules and regulations when riding their bikes on the road. On Monday 16th March we held a St Patrick’s Day assembly. The children listened to stories about St Patrick and found out how this special day is celebrated around the world. Quite a few of our children have friends or relatives who have lived in Ireland.Read More
On Monday 2nd March we held a special St David’s Day assembly. The children listened to stories about St David and talked about the Welsh symbols of the leek and the daffodil. We found out that several of our children had strong links to Wales through members of their family. Read More
The school participated in the Children In Need fund-raising event on Friday 14th November 2014. The theme was ‘Heroes’ and we saw a selection of superheroes as well as everyday heroes such as fireman! We raised over £90.00. Thank you to everyone who took part.Read More
