On Friday 4th July we held our annual ‘Sports Day’ event.
Throughout the day the children took part in a range of field and track events. In the morning many of the throwing and jumping activities took place; these included the standing jump, the tennis ball throw, a javelin style throw and just before lunch children in Key Stage 2 attempted the long distance run.
At lunchtime time we had our ‘Teddy bear’s picnic’! The weather was fine so we ate outside with our mascots, many of them were wearing our team colours.
In the afternoon, parents came along to watch our track events such as the sprint, beanbag race and obstacle course. The overall winning team was Kestrels (green). Well done everyone!
