Victorian Times!
As part of our history work, helping to extend their knowledge, the children in Galtres class carried out a project about the local area during the Victorian period.
They considered the development of the railways with the inventions by George Stephenson and also how the local farming communities lived and went to school.
At the end of the topic we went to Ryedale Folk Museum. We had a great time and enjoyed all the activities.
