Howard Class is for our children in Years 5 and 6.
Mr Fewlass is the class teacher.
Miss Bennett is the teaching assistant who supports learning in Howard Class.
Throughout our two-year rolling programme, Howard Class have the opportunity to learn about so many topics across the KS2 curriculum. From the Ancient Greeks to the events of World War 2. From learning about our Solar System to looking after our bodies, our aim is to ensure the children are equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to make that leap to Year 7 and beyond.
A residential visit to Bewerley Park for our Y6’s is always a fantastic way for the children to start their final year of primary school. We pride ourselves on ensuring the children take responsibility for their own learning, ensuring they know what to do to improve their skills and knowledge further. We also make the most of our wonderful local area when learning about the Vikings and Tudors by visiting York.
In Howard Class you will find children who are inquisitive, caring and who aren’t afraid to make mistakes. We just try and learn from them. All of this just scratches the surface of what to expect in Howard Class and of course you are welcome to come and take a look around for yourself.
