Bewerley Park 2015
Our Year 6 children set off on their residential visit to Bewerley Park on Monday 1st June.
Situated in heart of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bewerley Park Centre is ideally located. They have been providing high quality outdoor learning, using real outdoor activities in the natural environment, for over 70 years. Within a 20 minute drive of the centre you can find yourself biking through Swinsty Woods, swimming through Blayhaw Ghyll or scaling the heights of Brimham Rocks.
Accommodation
They have flexible accommodation to suit most needs including separate staff accommodation and DDA standard accessible dormitories. Their extensive grounds and beautiful location make it an ideal campsite too.
The experienced teachers and tutors are crucial to the way in which they work. They aim to provide a differentiated programme, which will provide active and inspirational learning opportunities for all who attend the Centre.
Their aim is to provide a first class experience, whether it’s a first time field studies residential or expedition training. They endeavour to provide opportunities that are full of learning, adventure and challenge, but flexible enough to take into account the weather and the needs of the group.
